Well, howdy! Guess what?! I had all sorts of grand plans for blogging all throughout Christmas Break and then stupid blogger wouldn't let me upload any more photos to my blog. I kind of gave up, but I am determined to get it working and figure out a solution. I have had a few people volunteer to help but have yet to ask them for said help. Anyway...
How was everyone's Christmas and New Year? Mine was just fabulous. Oh my goodness, I loved it! I can't wait to share photos From November and December. Usually January is such a let down (at least, after Daphne's birthday), but this year is is going to be crazy. I will be out of town every weekend in January, plus my last semester at SLCC is starting in a week, plus it's Daphne's birthday (and it's her year for a birthday party), plus my birthday is a week after I get home from my girl's trip at the end of January, plus we leave a week after that on Magnus' Make-A-Wish trip! Phew! It's going to be a very hectic and very FUN few weeks. I'm excited.
Some other awesome things going on this year are not one, but TWO weddings in my family! Both of my baby sisters are getting married. Kaylie in March and Suzanne in May. Oh gosh, I love weddings. I am so excited for that stuff. And we are going to my favorite place on earth in July, Lake Powell. I just can't tell you how much fun this year is going to be. I am prepared for 2016 to be the best year yet. Who's with me?!?
Some other goals I have are: re-losing weight that I lost 3 years ago. And this time, it ain't coming back. Also, reading the Book of Mormon again this year. I found an awesome study guide that I am using and so far I love it. It breaks it down into very manageable sections and asks very thought-provoking questions. I am also trying to finish studying the general conference talks from last October before April. I also want to finally read "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" and get my house in order once and for all. I am a very tidy person by nature, and I really love to clean. But when I am stressed or have a lot on my plate, my house is the first thing to go, because I always think, "The mess will always be there and I can always clean it later." Ugh. Since going back to school 3 years ago, my house has suffered the most. But, I would rather have IT suffer than anything else, so...
Last but not least, I am determined to nurture and care for my family relationships. I really want to serve and love my family and friends this year. I have some ideas on how to do that, and now the trick is to put my plans into action. Wish me luck!
So yes, it is going to be a busy, productive, and most of all FUN year. Just the way I like my life :)
Welcome, 2016! I am ready for you!

I can't wait to hear about all of your fun adventures! What BoM study guide are you using?? I'd love one.
I love reading all your goals and plans. Thanks for sharing!
Liz, I am actually just using an instagram account called studydaily. It is run by a seminary teacher. It is easy to follow along and he posts the most intriguing questions. I love it!
