Show Me You Love Me

I've had a rough few days. I don't know what it is. I just go through these "funks" every once in awhile. Is everyone like that? Or is it just me? Or is it because schools starts in 2 1/2 weeks and the kids are bored and ready to go back? I don't know. All I know is, I told my husband one night that I was going to run away and that I was tired of telling (telling, never yelling ;) the kids, "If you do that ONE MORE TIME...!" and also, "Clean up this playroom!" and not to be outdone by, "WHO MADE THIS MESS?!", so I was just going to check-out and be done.

He said, "Well, we'll miss you dear ."

That's okay, I'm over my funk, whatever it was. I cleaned the house top to bottom yesterday (okay, close enough, I didn't clean the basement bathroom. I only clean it about 5 times a year when guests are coming :), and did all the laundry. It felt good to scrub my bad attitude away. Cleaning clears my head. I should do it more often! Maybe. I'll think about it.

It definitely helped that Andrew brought me home some love offerings, along with a heartfelt, good old-fashioned, pleading-on-his-knees for me to never, ever run away, or even threaten to do so again.

(Okay, so that last part is slightly exaggerated.)

(Alright, alright, it never happened.)

At least the chocolate was amazing and the flowers are pretty.

And wouldn't you know it? The first one I opened up had this inside of it:
I will feel good about today! I have a plethora of errands to run and toting along 5 little children makes errands... intersting. To say the least.

But darn-it, I will feel good about today.

Good job! Your awesome!!! Whenever I have an off day, I just eat what I want(haha body shows it) and remember that tomorrow is always better. I have had 3 kids(none have been to school yet) at home for so long that cleaning sometimes seems silly but when you get to the whole house-it does feel really good! I cleaned mine today for my son's B-Day party and just love a clean house!!! My hubby always reminds me that when they are all in school, I can clean all day, run errands with no crying babies, and work out as long as I want! Course, then I will be sad that I don't have a baby anymore!

It's not just you. Blaine and I both have those kinds of days. Thankfully, for me at least, a little hard work like your cleaning the house, helps me get past it. I'm glad you're better!
