posing for the camera! p.s. I promise I willremeber to rotate my pictures someday

Lay Lay, Laylah girl, baby girl, lovie, these are just a few nicknames of my sweet Laylah. I wanted to write a post about her because she is just the sweetest girl and I love her so much, and I had a funny story about her too. Laylah turned 5 in May and it is still so weird to me that I have a daughter that old. She is the best helper. She will do anything I ask including the dishes, running upstairs to get me something (like a diaper and wipies, the baby, the dog, a tissue, anything!) just because I am sometimes too lazy to do it myself; she will empty the dishwasher, pick up the dog poop in the yard, feed the dog, get the younger kids a snack or a drink... pretty much anything I ask her to do, she does it and she never complains. She always says "okay mom!" with a smile and she often says "I am your best helper, huh mom." She is such a sweetheart and I love her so much. I feel bad because I know I am harder on her sometimes because she is the oldest ( I really feel bad for you oldest children out there :) but I am trying not to be. She did the funniest thing the other day. Andy and I were talking in the computer room and she runs in and yells "What the freakin hell!!" We both just looked at each other and covered our mouths and sat there trying not to laugh. I recovered first ( while Andy was still shaking with silent laughter) and said "Where did you learn that?" She said "I don't know, I just made it up" I told her that we don't say that because it isn't nice and people wouldn't appreciate it. She said "okay" matter of factly and walked out. We both just busted up laughing. She is so funny and is always making us laugh. Laylah is loving school and she's also been taking dance at Power Plus Dance productions. She loves dance and can't wait to go each week. She also loves to play with her friends and her brother and sister. They love playing in the backyard on the tramp, in the dirtbox, riding their bikes and drawing with chalk on the driveway. She is such a wonderful daughter and big sister, and we love her so much!!

Way too cute! I love the comment that she said! Don't you love how kids are so innocent that nothing like that phases them! Love it!
